What we do
- Cable the line
- A sectional or drum machine with the right head for the blockage. For grease and soap we use a cutter; for roots, a root saw.
- Jet it when cabling won't hold
- Hydro-jetting at 3,000–4,000 psi scours the pipe wall clean. We recommend it for kitchen lines that block more than once a year.
- Camera inspection
- After clearing, we run a camera and show you the footage on the spot. If the pipe is bellied, offset or broken, you'll know before you decide anything else.

Why basement floor drains back up in November
Older Seattle houses often have a floor drain tied into the side sewer. When the rains start, the ground saturates, roots swell, and a line that was 'fine' all summer backs up. A camera in October is cheaper than a flood in November.
