In Seattle the pipe from your house to the city main is yours, all the way to the connection under the street. When it fails, you need a licensed side sewer contractor, an SPU permit, and a plan that doesn't dig up more than necessary. We do all three.

- Camera and locate
- We scope the line, mark the problem's depth and position on the surface, and give you the recording.
- Spot repair
- Excavate only the failed section, replace it with PVC, tie into the good pipe on either side. Most jobs are one day.
- Full replacement or lining
- Where the whole line is clay or Orangeburg, we replace it by open trench or, where the ground allows, by pipe bursting so the yard stays mostly intact.

SPU permits and the sidewalk
Seattle Public Utilities requires a permit for any side sewer work and a separate street-use permit if we open the sidewalk or planting strip. We are a registered side sewer contractor, we pull both permits, and we book the inspection. The prices below include them.
